I got fired and now credit card debt is killing me
My family everyday living has spiraled pretty much out of control all due to bad money issues. For me it all started when I got fired from my job this was something that I totally did not foresee this occurring and it did. Without needing to mention losing employment isn’t good for any of us but I haven’t yet picked myself up and located another job at this point. This immediately made me understand just how far gone another financial problem I had is. This issue is credit card debt. My debt bills are very large and without money coming in I cannot pay them and will obviously begin to fall into delinquency on the monthly payments.
We have been searching for a debt solution that will assist me while I am still trying to find a new job. Many financial advisors have been preaching that debt settlement is a sensible plan that will be for debtors in my type of predicament. The purpose of this process is for the client to save funds and quickly get off the credit treadmill. This sounds exactly like what I may be doing.
It appears like debt settlement is really the only workable route for us because a bankruptcy hearing would involve me putting up my home and a consumer credit counseling plan is something I won’t be able to afford. I have discussed this program with my spouse and she feels that debt settlement would be a smart idea for us too. After we get rid of credit card debt then we plan on becoming a lot more responsible with our income and never get stuck in this terrible trap ever again.
